Our Mission

We believe that digital accessibility is not a luxury, but a fundamental human right.

Millions of PDFs are uploaded to the web every day without proper accessibility tags, making them completely unreadable to screen readers and assistive technologies. This creates an invisible barrier for millions of visually impaired individuals worldwide.

PDF Remediation Suite by ELECTEDBOOKS was built as a non-profit utility to break down that barrier.

Our sophisticated layout heuristic engine processes documents to guarantee strict WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 compliance. We enforce absolute 1:1 visual fidelity—meaning your document is structurally accessible without sacrificing its original design.

Professional Manual Remediation

While our automated engine flawlessly handles 95% of standard layouts, certain edge-cases (like complex infographics, nested untagged math equations, or scanned historical documents) require the discerning eye of a human expert. For these scenarios, we offer highly specialized manual remediation services.
